Chicagoland Smile Group is dynamic, rapidly growing dental support organization with practices throughout the city and Chicago suburbs.

We are currently seeking an office manager who is a highly motivated, professional and personable individual to manage a modern, busy family and multi-specialty practice. The ideal candidate would also be a team player and have good communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate, teach and lead our team. This individual will possess a great attitude and be independent, motivated, articulate, organized, take pride in his/her work and make patient care a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help coordinate and facilitate superior patient care and service
  • Daily huddle with full staff, going over the schedule for the day
  • Partner with the local managing dentist to provide consistent office leadership
  • Manage and develop administrative team members
  • Help ensure that the local dental office operates in an efficient and organized manner
  • Assist the local managing dentist with developing, implementing, and achieving clinical and financial targets
  • Utilize metrics, dashboards, operational checklists and key performance indicators to drive clinical performance and best practices
  • Treatment planning with patients
  • Running and analyzing weekly reports
  • Submitting and following up on dental insurance claims

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of experience managing staff in a customer focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and relationship building skills
  • Outgoing personality, ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive to promote the best dental care to our existing patients and potential new patients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a dental or medical office
  • Knowledge of dental insurance, terminology and billing procedures
  • Understanding of clinical side of dental functions as well as financial and front desk
  • Ability to travel locally for training and scheduled meetings
