The Revenue Cycle Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to work with insurance companies to ensure appropriate and accurate payment. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for monitoring insurance deposits and monitor the dental explanation of benefits statements from insurance payors. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator will support the dental office operations and track the effectiveness of the revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for posting dental insurance payments
  • Monitor insurance deposits for accuracy and completeness
  • Read dental explanation of benefits statements from insurance payors
  • Be knowledgeable in various insurance plans, manuals, exclusions and limitations
  • Maintain CSG’s patient ledgers and record adjustments as needed
  • Review insurance claims for accuracy and completeness
  • Support CSG’s patient ledgers and record adjustments as needed
  • Develop relationships on behalf of CSG with dental insurance companies by following up on outstanding claim requests
  • Track effectiveness of CSG’s revenue cycle operations using key metrics and data
  • Adhere to HIPAA compliance regulations and OSHA safety standard
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, accounting and/or finance
  • One to three years of work experience or a highly qualified new college graduate
  • Ability to analyze data sets and use data for decision making
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint); experience in working with databases a plus
  • Strong communication and telephone skills; ability to communicate and present information to senior leadership within the organization
  • Motivated and committed to achieving successful outcomes on projects; results-driven individual
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and positive attitude and demeanor
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Team oriented and proves the ability to work well with others
  • Professionalism in relation to job duties and appearance
  • Organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work in a fast paced environment
